So the chicken delivery train is up and running again.  I will be going to Logan Thursday or Friday to get my BCM and I can take or bring back any chicks or eggs as needed.  Let me know.  I also have to go down to Orem on Friday or Saturday  so I can transport down that way as well  And yes Sphinx I will stop by and say hi if that is ok

I sold my Blue Am Roo and my FBCM roo, I have a pretty black Am boy left if anybody wants him I could send him south with Sundance I think he is about 3 1/2 months old. '

Not related at all.  This was the only Ameraucana I got to hatch.  Congrats on your blue egg!   I think you may have an EE that Lisa has from the same hatch.  So, Lisa should be getting an egg soon, unless hers has already started laying.

Yup mine is squatting Mine came from one of the green eggs though, there were both colors in that hatch.....so will see what it lays......Blue would be awesome! My curly toed girl (Blue wh am) is on the nest singing the egg song........cross fingers........there were 5 this morning fighting over the same nest, in and out in and out, and no new layers yet......sheesh just do it already! It is NOISY in my yard this morning, my neighbors are goona shoot me.

It makes me wonder what I have to look forward to with my RIR when she starts laying. She's loud, as it is! I come out the back door and before I'm even in eyesight, she hears me talking to some of the other chicks and starts with her, "BAAAWK, BAWK BAWK BAAAAAAAAAWK!" I love how chatty she is, but I worry the neighbors may complain.

Pleh! Pleh! One of my Amer's decided to give me a kiss today. Bleeeh. It was cute, and my BO likes to do that, too, but when I have no idea what else might be on her beak, all I could do was spit and laugh after she did it. I think she was trying to see what my teeth were. Crazy birds.

I got it! yay! It is not very big, but better than my Australorps. This one is from Zoey my Blue Wheaten Ameraucana i brought back from Chickenstock, that had crazy messed up toes. bless her little cute heart. It only took 4 hours.......sheesh

FINALLY I have a blue egg, yippee!

Sundancen, I know someone who had birds like pheasants for sale a while back, but they might have only been ornamental breeds. I will check with them to see if they have quail other than bobwhites, and I'll keep an ear open for anyone else with quail, k?

We don't mind bobwhites just not white. Ed wants to hatch the eggs, I have created a monster

Ann we went ti Cal ranch today and guess what we bought? A cape cod style coop for Eds quail that he has decided to raise. I have created a monster and you helped

Does anyone know anyone in Salt lake or Utah County that raises quail. The lady in Idaho has whites but Ed wants normal

There are some other people over by Boise that have quail.. I'll have to look back on the Idaho thread to figure out who it was... I know someone here close by me that has chukars, too

i was going to get some quail not long ago but decided not to when i found the roosters crow loud so i would not be able to have them and seeing how i wanted to breed them that cooled the idea

sundance, Denagard. I would share, but I just did with SpeckledHills, and I want to keep some on hand. Some people will do a preventative treatment monthly, but I only do it twice a year. Here is the site you can get it from..can't find it in stores. It's worth having on hand.
