Loving all the pics on here!! Fun birds and awesome eggs, too!!!
Need to post a pic of the egg collection I am getting, kind of fun colors, especially because right now I only have 2 brown egg layers (sold the other 2) and 3 green/olive egg layers... That blue orp should be any day... saw her squatting the other day.... I really like that blue color... and she is getting big and heavy and fluffy like my BO... love it!!
That story about the rooster camping is seriously cracking me up... the rooster we got from birdguy which is at my mom's house is kind of like that... he lets me kiddos pick him up and stroke his comb, and he just sits there clucking the whole time... His feathers are still growing back in, so won't post a full-body pic yet, but really liking the coppery feathering he has on his chest but not down to his shanks (he's a blue Marans) getting really excited for when the chickie girlies I have are laying and we can get some eggs!!!
And those Wheaten roos are really pretty little guys, wow!! Can't believe how much their feathering has changed.... I agree with the others, Cynthia, yours look like pullets, they're feathering is just not very boyish.. maybe I should post pics of mine again, so you can see how striking their feathers are... Also, their combs are VERY red, the wheaten turned red before the blue wheaten, but it was within a week of each other that they turned red, and that's been a couple of weeks ago, now...
