Utah!

see the price for human grade grains is so much higher and since it is for animals you can use feed grade. ifa is the best place for grains i have found. i get wheat, milo, boss, oats and whatever else i decide to get and make my own scratch. i only buy whole grains and i have also planted some around the yard. i love the look of milo and oats and my animals love it too. boss is also fun to grow. ifa has tons of grains and for a good price

I think I will go take a look at IFA tomorrow. See what they have. Oats? I know they like the oats, I'll bet is is cheaper at IFA! Thanks again Brad.

I've been Roostered I think. I was out tucking in my chickens last night and noticed a new chicken in the coop. This chicken had a very big comb abd wattlers. Was beautiful. Today I took some pictures of him. He has the look of a rooster but his tail is straight. He has furry feet, He looks like a purebred Black Copper Marans to be. Here are a few pictures. I can't believe that someone put him in my yard.

So what do you thing? Rooster BCM? no crows from anyone, The hens chase this one around

My little Birchen Cochin, and a few pictures of one of the little pullet groups

I just moved her into the Silkie pen. After being chase around by the two Silkies, she
decided to pick on the frizzle silkie baby, the baby stopped after a while, and just stood
there looking at her. Hope that isn't a bold boy move!

Check out the colors of my babies..the got moved into another
pen today. There are two Swedish Flower up front, the frizzle
silkie, and you can't see much of the Faverolle in this one.

There's the Favorelle up front now..I sure hope this is a girl,
loving the colors. The Frizzle is in front of her, the other two
are the Swedish

That frizzle is always on the move it seems. The two Swedish on the left, the Favorelle
in the middle and the blurry little frizzle. :) Cute babies.

Oh wow, beautiful! That second picture of the tail does look like a roo to me. And the face. So pretty.

Here are some pictures of the other chickens I think are roosters. The gray one hatched from an olive egg. Really pretty. Tail is starting to curl. No crows yet. The black and gold one hatched from a big blue eggs. no crows yet tail starting to curl. Both these are available to anyone ob here if you want them. If no one takes them guess they will go to freezer camp on KSL

You positive it is a boy? Hmmmmm :) (The new surprise one). Looks just like my FBCM hen.....the wattles are the same, and comb....can't tell if there are stringly saddle feathers?

*Well I take that back. She does not have the copper on her rump.

I am not positive about anything just that this was a beutiful chicken that appeared in my yard, My neighbor said she first noticed it yesterday as well. She comes over with her grandkids and plays with the chickens all the time, Where is the copper in the rump of a bcm hen?

ahh to clarify, Mine has no copper on the back end like that one you have there....back in the saddle feather area. It IS a beautiful chicken, maybe it is a gift from someone who knows you will be a good chicken mom to it! I guess you will know for sure in the morning if it crows :p or lays :p
