I am very confounded about what is wrong with my silver sebright hen. She is a spoiled house chicken, who all of a sudden started showing neurological problems. As in overnight. At first, her poop was bloody, then graduated to diarrhea. It’s becoming more solid and normal now.

My dilemma is that she seems to have lost all coordination. She can stumble walk, but wings droop and she winds up stepping on them.

She eats and drinks fine ( turned her beak up at tuna, scrambled eggs, and applesauce ). The same day she began exhibiting signs of illness, I gave her save a chick electrolytes.

Also seems to be breathing hard.

She isn’t around any other animals or chickens.

None of her symptoms fit a sickness / disease / vitamin deficiency. Thus I am confounded.

PLEASE HELP!

How old is this bird? How long has this been going on?
Is a vet an option for you? A fecal test for parasites, coccidia and bacteria could help.
Bloody droppings most often is caused by coccidiosis, which is treated with Corid, available at most feed/livestock supply stores, tractor supply, etc. It comes in powder or liquid form, either is fine, it's usually in the cattle/livestock section.
Coccidiosis can also cause weakness, and loss of coordination in some cases, most common symptoms are lethargy, sitting fluffed up, going off feed and water, runny, mucousy, or bloody droppings. If you suspect that is the case, starting treatment quickly is important, some strains are more virulent and can progress quickly, it can severely damage the digestive tract and result in death.
There are other possibilities, but this is the most common cause of bloody droppings.
Treatment with Corid is very safe, and will not do any harm if it's something else.
If you can provide a bit more information, about age of bird, timeline of symptoms, how the bird is housed and what is fed normally, including treats, it might help in getting more suggestions if you think it is something else. I would go ahead and treat for coccidiosis anyway, to be safe, if it was my bird. I'm going to attach the dosing instructions for if you decide to treat. Since she's so sick I would also give her some directly in addition to the medicated water to get the medication in her quicker, dosing for that is here:

Use the severe dosing:

She’s gasping for air at this point. I’m not taking any chances and will be taking her to a vet first thing in the morning, if she makes it through the night.

She’s less than a year old. Loss of coordination started Thursday with the bloody droppings. She gets the purina flock raiser and scratch occasionally.

Under normal circumstances, she’d have gotten veggies, but we were in Georgia visiting family. She was in an xl dog kennel with a couple of limbs for perches.
