5 three week old ducks. Two are getting quite large, when are they going to start getting feathers?

Have patience, they dont feather in as fast as chicks.

How much heat do you have them under? Too high of temps will make them slower to feather too.

Ducklings and goslings have ninja feathers. For weeks they look like adorable fluffy babies, and then one day you take another look and realize their whole underside is nothing but feathers.

Give them time. They're perfectly fine

I am noticing a change in JJ's (3 week old khaki) tail area. There should be big kid feathers there in no time
