Va is in a state of emergency!

The rain has stopped here too for now, but the wind is kicking up...Hopefully you don't end up flooded like me. I just hope hubby makes it home safely..he get's off at 5:30 and has to cross a bridge to get here, plus I'm sure the 'trenches' next to the road are overflowing if my yard is under at least 11in of water in parts.

Prayers are with you from GA, we were hit with 6 inches in 5 hours this time and then in the past month about 18 total...Even the inside of the dryer is mildewing...

Still raining, here in Richmond. I'm pretty sure my ducks were teaching my chickens to swim, this morning. I really need to work on the drainage in their pen!!

Its stopped rainning here. We got over 4 inches but a fine mist has fallen all day in Shallotte,NC today. I am on the coast now for a bit. When it comes to water on the road its " TURN AROUND,DON'T DROWN. Stay safe. Gloria Jean

Please be careful! If you see water in the road, I'd advise to not drive into it because you can't always know how deep the water is. Alot of ppl make this mistake. Take care!
