so leaving the run door open all day and all night is a bad idea...? i dont want them pecking each other if there locked up, and thank you for all the warm welcomes

Mine were about that age when we went on vacation. I hired a neighbor girl to let them out and close them up at night and to change water and add feed. It worked out fine. They were all alive and well when we returned.
