Vaccinate new chicks or not?

Hi,
We pick up our first new chicks on Father's Day!!

We did not tell them to vaccinate them and are now debating whether that was a good idea or not. What is everyone's opinion on this topic? Has anyone had a brood not vaccinated and lost a bunch?

I can still call the company today or tomorrow and ask them to vaccinate them. Just wanted to see what you experienced chicken people thought should be done!!

I have my chicks vaccinated at the hatchery before I get them. It doesn't cost very much. Here is an article on Marek's Disease:

I dont vaccinate my chicks that are hatched here or the ones I get from a hatchery.. I do use a med. feed. I lost 1 chick out of 200 this year and all the birds a healthy..
