Vaccinations?

Hi im just getting 5 hens.
Should I bother getting them vaccinated from diseases? If yes, wich ones?
It's really up to you if you want to vaccinate your birds or not. You might consider what diseases are prevelent in your area and vaccinate for those diseases. Here where I live, some people vaccinate against fowl pox due to mosquitos carrying the virus. Personally, I dont vaccinate. Here's a couple of links for you to take a look at:

I've recently done a lot of reading on this and I only have 4 chickens. I'm vaccinating for Mareks and fowl pox. We have ALOT of misquotes here!
It's up to you but the vaccines are pretty cheep on firststatevet.com .

Thank you for adding a place to get cheaper vaccines. My chicks are only a week old, and I am leaning towards "no". I at least know where to go in the future.
FYI to people that don't know. A number of places make you buy a minimum of 500 or 1,000 vaccines. Thus a big reason for smaller farms to not vaccinate.
Thanks again!

Could you call a vet to get the vaccines? We only have 12 chickens. I would like to vaccinate, but we are unsure of what we are doing. Our birds range from 1 that is 1 year old - 11 that are 6 months or 4 months. Plus, we have 11 guineas that are 4 weeks old. Any advice would be appreciated.
