Vaccines.

So I have a lot of chickens. Today I bought 4 buff orpingtons and my grandmother ( I am 14) told me that I should get all of them vaccinated. So what is the most common disease . What should I vaccinate my chickens for.

Alot of folks dont vaccinate their chickens including me. Practicing biosecurity and keeping a closed flock improves odds that your birds wont catch anything. If you still want to have your birds vaccinated, I recommend that you contact your local extension office and find out what poultry diseases are prevelent in your area, then consider vaccinating against those particular diseases if you wish.
