Valbazen and chicks

Can I use Valbazen on my 4-5 wk old chicks and start them on a worming schedule every 6 months? Or are they too young, and when should I start worming them?

I think dawg53 usually recommends starting around 8 or 9 months. They should not have enough worms to cause problems at this age, if indeed they have any at all.

Ok thanks, sometimes I think reading all these forum posts is like reading what to expect when your expecting and you're pregnant! It makes you worry about all the bad things that are probably never going to happen!

I would wait until I suspected worms before treating them.
