So I got some Valbazen today and I understand the dosage, but what is the best way to orally treat chickens? I have a 3cc syringe, but do I put it under the tongue, to the side as in tubing or just drop it in the tip of the open beak? I don't want them to aspirate it.

I angle it toward the side in the back of the mouth and just go slow when I give it. Give some, watch to see they swallow, then give more.

Going slow and just a tiny bit at a time.
I kind of slightly pry the beak open with one of my fingers with syringe in same hand. I then put just enough so I can see it land in their mouth, then when I let go, they swallow it themselves.
Kinda hard to explain...Sorry if that doesn't help.

Ya, I don't put the syringe that far back, I just put it on their tongue or what their mouth can handle so they can swallow it themselves.
That's a crazy picture, haha..

Thanks! Not looking forward to tossing eggs for the next 3 weeks, but the health of my birds trumps eggs any day of the week.

Ya, I hear ya. If you have a worm bin they LOVE LOVE LOVE the egg shells. Can even crush them up and bury them in the garden dirt.

I don't think I did 3 weeks of egg tossing..I may have done about 10 - 14 days.
Did you do the Wazine first before Valbazen?
