I haven't yet wormed my doe since she has kidded. The breeder I got her from said they use valbazen. Has anyone used this before? Can I use it on the kids? Do I have to worm every year?

It depends on how long the previous owner used it on her. If she has worms, they may be immune to Valbazen now and you'll need to switch to something else, like Ivomec or Safeguard.

I would send a fecal sample to the vet for each goat. If they have worms, you can then worry about what to use to treat them. If they don't, there's no need to worm.

You should do a fecal sample to see if you have any worms... I'd only worm if you have a problem. then the worms wont get immune. If you do have worm, choose a wormer you feel comfortable with that works on that type of worm...

Any vet should be able to do it... or you could learn to do it yourself...
