Valentine's Day 1st Annual Hatch Along

@emvickrey I really like your charts! I've been using a calendar, but not enough room for all the info, lol.
I keep them on a clip board while in use and after the hatch is over they go in a binder. There is plenty of room to wrige any other information you want to add like band colors and the numbers on the bands. My memory isn't like it should be so I have to resort to paperwork. Now know where my chickens came from and which parent produced them in what generation but years and months I forget as well as breeders names. I know my birds it's the breeders others came from I can't remember.

My notes are embarrassing compared to yours lol. I need to get more ocd!

Yup, me too. I know my first few hatches, but after that it gets jumbled, lol. I mark them on my hatching calendar, but I had some staggered hatches and didn't get them marked on exact days. :/

At least you have notes! lol Met a truly crazy chicken lady and she hatched every week and had no clue how old any of the chooks were, lol. She had great birds and healthy, but no records at all...

Thats how I used to to it. It just made me more confused. I'll send you some charts. You can get a binder and separate them by months or breed, however you choose to do it that makes it easier for you. Last year I just put the pages behind the last one but this year I'll be separating them by months. That way it will be easier and faster when I have to go back and look at the records.
