I'm happy that when I got up one Iowa/ee baby was fluffing
and the other barred rocked is at least pipped
so maybe they are just slowwwwww. We will see today if any stragglers come in. WOW did I jinx myself trying to get a good hatch rate to win some eggs....grrrrr
.This will be one of our worst EVER!
Yikes....I was REALLY hoping everyone of these would hatch too....But I was excited to see the little baby out already...the other barred rock baby is doing well and is standing and peeping and searching out his hatch mates...so I am hoping he is doing well! I AM NOT opening the bator to take anyone out I don't want to shrink wrap the baby pipping!
Something I don't understand....I see alot of folks fishing out babies that are fluffed to the brooder...are y'all waiting till there is none pipping? or moving them while others are pipping? Won't that shrink wrap the ones pipped? I stopped opening my bator to "help" chicks and have stopped having shrink wrap issues.(I say that now its gonna happen that I have to help one!) ugh....just wondering.
