DD came and sat next to me, as excited as I was to see what was in the Valentine package. We oohed and aaahed over the dish towels (white ones & checkered ones), heart-shaped cookie cutter and cute little basket. The Valentine cupcake wrappers will HAVE to be used soon (according to DD), as will the pink & red sprinkles!! And she wanted conversation hearts right then, of course (we hadn't had dinner yet). I think I'll sneak some into her lunch tomorrow.

But DD was stunned to pull out something for herself! She was soooo tickled! I told her she could put the clings (the jelly-looking kind in heart shapes) on her mirror, but she said she wanted them on her locker at school instead. And then she took off to find a pencil sharpener for the pencils you sent her.

DH was watching from aross the room. I showed him the white dish towels. There are 3, and one says 'Love', with a heart drawn on it. The next one says 'Friends' with a smiling face drawn on it. The third says 'Family' with a smiling face and hearts. You made those, right Tanya? They're adorable!!

DH said, "Wait, hold the first one out again." So I did. I asked what was wrong and he said, "I thought it said 'Lori' for a minute there."
I said, Nope, it says 'Love'."
Without missing a beat he said, "Same thing." OOooohhh! DH got brownie points on that one

That was cool and fun. I remember now why I liked swaps so much! Fun suprises!!


Thought of something else. The cookie cutter reminded DD of when was little and I would cut her sandwich into a heart shape during February.

Also that your DD was sitting next to you when she realized she got something too, that worked out perfectly! I am excited to hear if her friends liked her clings. Tell her mine are on my front door window, so the fist thing you see is happy hearts! Yes I did do the dish towels

Sadly thats about as crafty and creative as I get!

Kudos to your DH, that was some pretty quick thinking!!

I got some great smelling partylite votives in black raspberry, a frosted votive holder, avon bubble bath, a book titled "Still Life with Chickens" some valentines day kleenex, and a warm and fuzzy purple crocheted scarf with cuff thingies??? Sorry,I'm not very up on fashion so I think thats what they are. Please correct me if I'm wrong. But I THINK they go at the wrist outside the coat to match the scarf. My model will demonstrate in her pajamas..................... with no coat....................and with them halfway up her arms

What do you know. My pics won't load here at home. have to do it at work on Monday.

The stretchy things are pony tail holders, if you have long hair (one to use and one to share) or they can also be used to secure the scarf in creative ways. I meant to put an explanation in and forgot.

My theme was Warm & Cozy Things for Wintertime. There was supposed to be hot chocolate and candy, but they are in the pantry where DH put them away with the 8oz bottle of bubble bath. That's why you got a ginormous one

Glad you got it all, safe and sound! I did remember to put the little Valentine card in there, right? I thought those were soooo cool! DD is using the rest of the box. Apparently they're even cool enough for a 15-year old!

Here what I got today from greenfamilyfarms. I love your soaps. Can hardly wait to finish up Jack Frost soap to use the Baby Powder on I just got. Also got hand healer. French Vanilla Coffee, Cookies and a coffee cup with love design and candy in it

Thank you I love everything. Just what I need after this week with my father passing away on Saturday.

I got a wonderful box from my partner yesterday, but between work and things, I haven't even been on the computer! I'll post a pic tomorrow, when things are nice and quiet. There were soaps, a heart shaped basket, bath salts, and other goodies...all wrapped in handmade wrapping and bags. Lovely! Thank you, Lynette (HappyHappy)!!
