I hope these are a little better and someone can give me an opinion on what happened with this chick.

Please keep us updated AVining7.
You will be envied far and wide if it's an adult color. It is a precious gift. Congratulations!

I'd be very tempted to hatch every egg that comes from that chick no matter what breeding strategy you decide to use.

If it grows up with that mutation, please sell me some of its eggs. I would pay SOOO much money for that mutation.

That one chick could be worth a fortune...

I regret to say that I lost the silver chick today. It was fine this morning when I checked water and feed then 4 hours later it was lying dead in the brooder. What little wing feathers it had at one week old were all tipped in white. I don't know where this color might have come from but will be hatching all the eggs I get from this pen to see if another turns up.

Annette,
Sorry to hear about your lil precious chick, hopefully you will get several more .
If you only get one breed back to parent stock to see what you get but if you get a pr. of them do breed them together.
I have never seen or heard about one colored like that before .

The Two Valley Quail chicks we picked up from you are doing great ! We lost one of the chicks within 24 hours. We are in hopes we have a pair.
Will deffinetly be getting some more from you ,It was well worth the drive !

The 3 Emu chicks are growing like bad weeds ,we just love them !
