The one that hatched yesterday is doing fine. I had one more hatch early this morning. And two that have had pips since yesterday afternoon.

I am happy to have one Blue Ameraucana and one Splash Ameraucana, so far. I was hoping for a splash.

And one of the other eggs pipping is a Cuckoo Marans. I'm pretty sure it was the only one developing.

Iam on day 5 its starting to feel like time is slowing down because i want it to go quick. I do have a question though do you count the day you but them in as day one or is it the next day? I put mine in mon at 8pm and i dont want to screw up when its day 18 thinking its day 17. i hate learning new things even though it is so much fun lol

I believe Tuesday would be day 1. I'm new at this but from what I've read, if you put them in late in the day or in the evening, it doesn't count as a day.

u count 24 hours from when u first set them as day 1.

well my copper black marans hatch is done.

most of the eggs were scrambled and not good and 2 didn't finish developeing and 1 died before pip. i'm heartbroken i got only 4 babies out of 15 eggs and i was sooo looking forward to haveing a nice big flock of them. crossing my fingers there is at least one pair in there hopefully.

I want them to HATCH NOW!

Sorry, I've been AWOL. This past week's been kinda nuts.

No eggs going to hatch here. Long story I'd rather not go in to.

With that, we've decided to put starting our flock on hold until we move later in the year.

I'm just thrilled with all the info I'm getting from this group, though! I'll be totally prepared next time. Thanks!

I bought 2 dozen mixed eggs from a local egg farmer today, and put them in my new Little Giant still air incubator. The temp had:/ held steady for several hours, but after adding the eggs, the temp has fluctuated from 80 to 105 degrees. I've never done this before. What are the chances that any of these eggs will hatch?
