Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Australorps are my favorite standard breed. I've raised them for years (along with dozens of other breeds), and they are extremely hardy, calm and gentle (my children, and now my granddaughter, made lap pets of them), and excellent layers of large, brown eggs. If you are going to purchase some Ayam Cemani, be sure and get them from a reputable breeder (everything about them should be black). There are a number of either ignorant, or dishonest chicken owners out there that are trying to sell Ayam Cemani (at what seems to be a bargain price) that are not pure Ayam Cemani. If you are not real familiar with pure Ayam Cemani, I would take some photos of the chickens you are considering buying and post their pics on our What Breed or Gender is This? section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/15/what-breed-or-gender-is-this to verify that they are in fact pure Ayam Cemani.
