I hung one in every corner of my gazebo and we sit out there fly free! A great idea and cheap, too. It also smells nice.

I tried it, too.
Recently put my 6 pullets into their new coop and was shocked to see how many flies I got so quickly. Used fly traps and then I got more. Seems like I got flies from my entire neighborhood. Took those down and hung the vanilla trees, one on each corner of the coop and they work great. Many thanks to whoever discovered this !

It works great in the barn, & I hung one in the computer room, But there's ALWAYS one fly in here bugging the crap outa me!
