In thinking of getting a game cam and seeing what it catches on there.I have lost multiple birds at once to a fix but usually it is when they have babies back at the den or are teaching them to hunt.

I have only had a roo do that. I have 3 roos so the power struggle sometimes forces one out. Hens on the other hand dont tend to stay outHave you considered it to be foxes? We had a fox get two of our hens a couple months back, we saw no sign of something taking them. A few weeks later we saw a chicken foot sticking out of the ground. The fox had just burried what remained of them. But it is possible they wandered away and decided to stay the night outside the coop.
Also, I should ask how big these birds are. A feral cat has come around and started making a buffet of my young bantams and guineas and I have lost multiple birds all in one day. Luckily I finally caught him/her in the live trap last night and am hoping someone I know needs a barn cat. I'm sure it will be a great mouser.
