Varied temps shipping to incubator

I have a few Araucana eggs that I still couldn't see the air sac on day 7... but the shells on those particular ones are very smooth and dark, I really can't make out anything, so I just set them anyway...other than being difficult to see, they're really the nicest eggs in the bunch. Tonight is day 10 and I'm so nervous.... I hope there are some signs of life

This egg incubating business is stressful! It's just taken over everything

I've had green eggs that I could not see the development once they really got going, but I could always make out the air cell, except for the time a pipper pipped into the vein and blood covered the membrane causing it to become opaque. I don't think I have ever had one so dark I couldn't see the air cell. But as long as they didn't stink or leak, they were left in until the end.

Yeah, I go into a bathroom and close the door (most people do

, sorry for the pun, I couldn't help myself!)....

I marked all over my eggs! Made lots of notes, so tonight I'll pick out the questionable ones and look at them again.... I guess I should take out the clears too, at this point.... I'm bidding on another 1/2 dz Araucana eggs, from SC (ebay).... the seller has 40 years of breeding in his flock and I would like to have the genetic diversity.
