If your birds are inside coop you shouldnt have any concern of frostbite. If your letting them outside it never hurts to put a little vasaline on there combs and waddles. Bigger the comb the more prone it is to become frostbite. Leghorns for example have a huge floppy cone those frostbite easily. My birds are very used to the cold tempertures but its the wind that normally will get them frostbite wise outside the coop as i said inside dont worry about it.
