BUT: You CAN enjoy Bacos on your salads at home. Thanks to our wonderful world of processed food, Bacos actually contain no meat products whatsoever.

I am trying to avoid processed foods, so no thanks. Plus, they always seem overly salty to me.

I am not trying to be mean or anything, but why would you not eat meat? JW. I have always wondered. I like to eat meat, vegetables, fruit and small portions of sweets.

Several reasons. First to maintain my current weight of 115, it is easier to be vegetarian. I can eat more and not be hungry. At only five foot tall, it is hard for me to carry extra weight. I am a small framed person. Also, I am trying to be healthier and add more vegetables and fiber to my diet anyway.

I find some of the factory farm methods to be troubling. I understand that the best way to provide inexpensive meat to the world might be factory farms, so I am not putting down people who choose to eat meat. But until I can afford pasture raised meat or a gun to hunt my own, I think that I will remain vegetarian. My decision is personal though and I don't expect others to make a similar decision. My husband is a carnivore and that is his choice.

At this point, I am only mostly vegetarian. Changing all at once would be too difficult.

There are many many many reasons why...Some are related to health and some to personal preference. I already know many reasons but right now I'm too busy to list them all...So you should maybe do some research on the pros and cons.
