OH, remember when I posted a pic of my Miss Emily, my one and only blue orp pullet? You were the only one who said it looked like a roo to you? Well, let me tell you, I am looking at the feathering now on him/her and I do believe it is a roo. The neck feathers are extremely shiny and developing Saddle feathers? is that what you call them over the rear end and drapping to the sides? Then I also saw another post where someone said the first one to hatch is always a roo...Miss Prissy???...it was the first and only one to hatch so I may have my roo. It followed me and one of the dogs yesterday and jumped at the dog trying to spur him...do hens do that?
