Its a nifty product for pain relief. Its like putting aspirin directly into the area since the essential oil will cross the barrier of the skin. Sweet birch oil does the exact same thing...beware that after applying you really want to be careful about touching your eyes or any sensitive parts... it will BURN. We use the 2 oils interchangeably for pain relief of any kind of bone pain.
