I'm not even sure if this is an issue, but thought I'd ask around and see.
My chickens (year old hens) usually have some poo clumps stuck to the feathers below heir vents. I've checked (and do check frequently) that their vents are clear, and that has always been fine. Great layers, seem otherwise to be pretty healthy. Is this an issue, or something that could indicate an issue? Other than aesthetics?
