Crowing
I started building my new coop and i need some help with the vents. The vents will be cut 14”x4” out of the plywood with chicken wire over it. For this wall, does this seem like a correct spot to put it (the little rectangle up top)

Too small. Make it bigger. I'd run the full length of that side and the side opposite it.I started building my new coop and i need some help with the vents. Yes we will have overhangs all around the roof. And I was going to make two of the 14”x4” on the back wall also.Too small. Make it bigger. I'd run the full length of that side and the side opposite it.
And by "chicken wire" you mean 1/2" hardware cloth, correct?
When you frame the roof, make sure you install an overhang all the way around. I'd go at least 12".
Already added the windows and made the windows so i can’t make the windows any bigger. They will be top hinged windows anyway. How big should i make the vents then?Agreed. That's not even half a square foot.
Make a top-hinged window all the way across. That way you can prop it open a little or a lot depending on the current window conditions.
Here's an article on making a good prop: https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/window-support-for-top-hinged-windows.74810/
It’s not finished but it’s a 8’x6’ coop. We have a top hinged window on every side and we didn’t start the roof yetNeed to see more of coop.
What are the plans for a roof?
I always suggest large(12-18") roof overhangs with fascia and HC on soffit areas.
This does help but the roof only slopes one way, we don’t have a triangle roofMaybe this will help.
