vent problem

I have 12 hens, no roos. One of my Rhode island Reds is about 6 months old, but don't think she is laying yet, has a roundish mass protruding from her vent. There is also a thick, pale yellow, liquid dripping from it. Any idea what it is?

is she egg bound? Have you inspected it up close and personal and felt around. Maybe a warm sits bath is needed to help her out.
