Vent sexing duckling??

Hi.. so iv brought myself an incubator and iv got 30 eggs. Hoping most will hatch.. My question is I'd like to vent sex them as young as possible as I only want to keep females and the drakes will be taken to a poultry market and sold. Iv heard vent sexing can damage ducks and stuff them up for egg laying.. Is this true? And also what's the minimum age I should get them vent sexed.

Injury is possible, though the risk is minimal with an experienced sexer (not sure if that's a real term).
Minimum age is 1 day old. You want to sex them within the first few days after hatching.

Thanks for the reply.. I have a friend who owns a farm and he said he would sex them for me. I just wanted to make sure i wasn't doin more harm than good as we want the ducks for egg laying purposes and didn't want to sabotage that.
