vent sexing?

Im afriad Im useless at vent sexing in the first few days. Im so conscious that the yolk sac has just been drawn into the abdominal cavity and the area so delicate. I usually wait for a week when they're more robust and established

Mainly for safety reasons, it is easy to injure them if they are bigger. Holderreads recommends sexing them twice in their lifetime, at day-old and as young adults when separating them for breeders or freezer.
