In a nutshell I needed to adjust the roost bar on the prefab coop I have. Now the chickens are head level with the window vent. Do I need to worry? I'm in south east PA.

I can shut the window but don't have time to add any more venting tonight. I could take the roost bar out and just let them sit on the bottom of the coop. It's elevated off the floor

Pics of coop and roosts would help here.

There are ways to baffle vents to reduce air movement.

Here's how to add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

Have you actually tested the new roost location for drafts from the current vent location? Might be a little trickier with a prefab but if you take a light ribbon and place it at roost height and 12" above that, on a typical windy day, you can check to see how much air movement there is at the spot. A little ribbon movement is fine, but a lot of movement = drafts.
