Will the pop door count for that if it is only open during the day and closed and night?IMHO you need 2 opening to keep circulation (the chimney effect)
So I think that you should have another opening/s in the bottom.
I was going to put a clear plastic around tht bottrm half, to keep blowing snow out. With the position of the coop the tree blocks a lot of the snow, but snow will get blown into that area and make driftsGood point about the run being roofed! You will want to either cover it or shovel it out for them so that they can get outside.
My pop door isn't a tight seal so enough air gets in down below that it works for my set up.Will the pop door count for that if it is only open during the day and closed and night?
No, it has to be opened all the time, you can drill 5-10 holes in the dore or in the coop wall it will be sufficientWill the pop door count for that if it is only open during the day and closed and night?
