Ventilation in Winter

No - unfortunately the windows only open from the bottom.

Supposed to be 30 degrees overnight. Ugh. I hate winter!

Deep Breath....it'll be OK....first winter is hard but you, and your birds, will make it thru.
Was 23 here this morning and I hadn't put the heater in the waterer yet so had to trot out and swap the waterer.

Decorative. But on the replacement we were thinking to vent thru there too

All of your window openings should have 1/2 hardware cloth covering them. You could put the hardware cloth over the other wire, if you want to.

Yes, that is the plan this spring. I was thinking about wrapping the bottom 2’ of the pen, too, just to be 100% safe from grabbers!
