Not actual bedding, just enough to make the poo not freeze fast to the board. I just use the drywall-taping tool I clean the board with, reach down and grab a load of bedding off the floor with it and thinly toss it across the poo board.

My common sense kicked in and I did put a layer of shvings over the boards yesterday and it was much easier this morning.I can`t believe the differance in the amonia smell its almost gone. Got 7 inches of snow,its so clean and white so pretty.The wind is supose to come up so all the shoveling and snow blowing will be filled in again and will have to do it all again!!Don`t you just love winter????
