Ventilation question

Gambrel roof.
Since your going to strip shingles, it's the perfect time to extend the upper roof plane to and some more eave venting up higher. Saw someone do this before and it worked great. They also added a ridge vent.

Here's a quick, very rough sketch to explain, hope it makes sense.
Could do more later if you wish.

I really like that idea! I hate how the roof is so confining the way it is. Thanks for the info!

My husband and I came up with a compromise. He said we can redo the walls and find a used door online and in a year if I’m still chicken crazy, he will buy me a new 8x12 outbuilding. That turbine and the wave vents should provide a lot of ventilation. In winter I will probably have to stop it from spinning, if it causes a draft.
So since we are going to keep it with a concrete floor, I think I’ll use sand.
I saw the cutest outbuilding I want.
I think he offered me a good compromise ;)
