ventilation question

i am designing my new coop. i am building this in a barn style with the vertical boards on the exterior. is this enough ventilation with the small spaces that will be between the vertical boards on the outside?

It is hard to visual how much space you'll have between the boards but if it was me I'd go more...you can always block it off during super cold days. You can you cut a ventilation hole up high near the peak that you can cover with hardware cloth?

Now if I'm going to cut a hole near the peak shouldi cut one on both sides to get air to blow through?
