I am just aggrivated with a certain small group of people that reside in the same chicken world as we do that think that NOBODY's chickens are any where near being a quality bird and doesn't deserve to be recognized much less sold to others that are interested in the breed or just would like to have some to have them.
My bird of subject is the Onagadori. Anybody that has done even the slightest bit of research knows there are no pure bred Onagadori in the U.S. The only ones brought into the U.S. where done so by the Japanese in 1940 to the World Fair. Now unless these birds live a really long time there are none here. We all have project birds. Those are birds that are being bred to have as close to the characteristics as the real Onagadori. That is why some call them American Onagadori.
Those same people are googling the name Onagadori and everywhere they see them advertised they post a warning or some kind of dispute to ruin the persons sales. In turn they send those interested in the ad they ruined, their website link and try to sell their book or their birds or eggs. It really seems to me that sort of ethics should be illegal. That is so wrong.
When a person posts an ad and they add a pic of the birds or parents to what they are selling, the buyer is responsible to do research and ask questions. If they choose to buy what is advertised it is their business. Not somebody that has no intention of buying it but to ruin the sales in order to steal the customer.
It's people like this that ruin it for everybody else. Site Moderators are busy enough with out having to slap adults hands for speaking out inappropriately. There aren't alot of sites like this that are so helpful and have such nice friendly people that just want to help. Those of you that want to hurt other people should stick to your own sites. I know you have them, you all sent me your links and tried to sell your birds, eggs and your book. I saw this book. It consists of everything i've seen on the internet when doing research on this breed.
I was sent a link by a well known named person that states in their website they no longer call these birds Onagadori but the first word in the title to this persons website is Onagadori.
Imagine that.
