if you show they have to be dubbed since it is part of the standard and is in the SOP but the dubbing, i think, did come from fighting them and it is a controversial issue and i do believe there are several trying to get the SOP changed so the birds do not have to be dubbed to be shownWhy would they want them dubbed? I would guess it is for fighting reasons, but it is part of the standard? Is it similar to clipping a dogs ears?
actually it is still legal here in louisianaYep, guess it is one of those things, that at one point in time there was a reason, the reason is now gone (or at least legally gone) but the tradition remains. Hope they can get it changed. They look so much more manly with a full comb and wattles, more like a hen without.
