Thank you so much everyone!
We have had so many people just come and offer their support in so many ways. We have been surprised, touched, and overwhelmed with the amount of people who want to help us. Me and my family are so very thankful.
Do you know how it started?
We believe it might have been the heat lamps that we were using for the newly born batches of piglets, or possibly a wire that might have been hanging somewhere in one of the walls.

Hi friends -
I have two old roosters and age is catching up to one of them. I'd like to secure some company for them before Mic passes, leaving Sonic alone. I really don't want to do the chick thing again. So if you have some spent/retired/non-laying hens you're looking to offload, please let me know. I'd be willing to kick in a few bucks or a couple bags of feed. I'm in Lamoille and willing to pick up within a reasonable distance.

Hi! I have some hens that I would love to send to a new home instead of putting them down. Are these roosters your only poultry right now?

I don't check this forum every day text or leave a voice mail at 603 631 5090 . Breeds are barred rocks, Colombian Wyandotte , Easter egger / ameracauna only 1 , buff brahma only 1 . can bring to most places in northern NH or VT or meet halfway Thank You

If I was closer, I would defiantly be interested! I believe that you are a little ways from me. I hope you are able to find a caring home for them. They look very healthy.:love I've been wanting to get some muscovy ducks for a while.
Other than MG flareups they are otherwise healthy and have good body condition. Maybe we could meet halfway?

Muscovy sure are entertaining birds. They are quite moody and can be aggressive  and that's the reason I'm trying to rehome one (she's being picked on terribly).

I just noticed that you added Katahdin Sheep to your tags. Do you raise them? I didn't know that!
I used to and I miss them. My last one died last year at 16 1/2 years old. They were THE BEST. ❤️

If you aren’t able to find a home for them, we might be able to make it something work.

Aw, they look so sweet! :love
My family earlier this year got a bunch of sheep, and I became the sheep caretaker. I absolutely love them. The Katahdins are by far my favorites of the bunch. About a quarter of them are Katahdins, and the rest are mostly Dorsets and some Wool Mixes.
We have been having some surprise lambs lately due to one of the young rams that decided he was ready when he was only 2 months old. :rolleyes:The lambs are SOOOOO cute. One of the moms who had twins rejected one of hers, so now we have a cute little bottle fed lamb in the house.
