What a wonderful place this is.
I started raising chickens as a 4H member when I was 9 and went on to larger & larger animals as time went on, much to my parents dismay.
Presently raising Simmental, SimAngus & Smurf ( SimHereford ) grass fed, happy, beef cattle here in pristine Vermont.
I do alot of animal rescue and am on several local and national Disaster Animal Response Teams ( DART ).
I was one of the few responders rescuing Chickens & Ducks in the aftermatch of Hurricane Katrina in Gulfport, Biloxie & New Orleans.
Am presently looking for:
A few chicks, of each, in late April or May
Of the following:
Blue Laced Red Wyandotte
Golden Laced Blue Wyandotte
Lemon,Gold,Buff,Splash or Wheaten Morans
I know all of the above are not popular breeds, so I thought I better start a more concentrated search, early.
Please point me in the right direction.
Would prefer to buy local, but realize I may even have to go to
another nearby state to find them.
