Just a quick update.... I purchased a couple of 4"x 16" cinder blocks to make some steps that the goats & chickens can't easily flip over or move. This seems to have done the trick. She had the baby out yesterday and when I checked on them after dark, they were both back inside the goat house!
I also moved the waterer outside (had to bat her away many times to get it) to encourage her to go out.
I haven't had an opportunity to examine the baby close up since the first time I took her, but she appears to be getting around on her stump a lot better. I don't think her foot is really working at all. When I watched her for a few minutes from a distance yesterday, she kept picking the foot up and picking at it so I think it is bothering her but she does seem to be walking on it without too much of a limp.
