If it is mites, try Frontline (do you live in UK) not sure if you have Frontline in USA, but try frontline, its amazing, (its for killing mites and fleas & lice on cats,) only use about two drops on the back of their necks, (we use a dropper syringe) it really works....sorry for your loss in chickens and eggs
