I've got a BO hen thats about 1.5 years old now and has had a tendency to go broody before. In the past I've used different techniques to help get her out of her broody cycles such as isolation, repeated dunkings in cool water, and putting cold packs under her in the nest box. However she became broody recently and has been so for about 4-5 weeks now and none of the things I've done in the past that have worked seem to have any effect on her now. She won't seem to come out of this broody cycle and I'm running out of ideas. Does anyone have anything that has worked for a persistently stubborn broody hen? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
