very dirty butt and diarrhea

My bantam cochin hen has had a very dirty butt for a week or two and when i trimmed the feathers around her vent, I saw that there was diarrhea around it. She also seems to fart a lot more and is less active. How can I treat this? I read somewhere that it can be treated by giving my hen probiotics through things like yogurt.

What do you feed including treats?

Check to make sure her crop is emptying overnight. Look her over for lice/mites and consider getting a fecal float to see if worms are an issue.

I feed her meal worms every now and then. What is a fecal float?

A fecal float is performed by a vet to see if worms are present in a sample you take in.

Does her crop empty overnight or does she have a bad odor coming from her beak?
