Funny thing. Now that the chicks are born and in their little apartment with mom and pipping away, auntie has decided she's broody!
We're going to try and break her, but my question is...

Is is normal for a hen to go broody when she senses kiddies in the coop???

Hmmm... I'm not sure, but I do know that shortly after one of my hens went broody, a second hen followed. I guess she wanted in on the extra attention!
