Very first hatch in incubator!

I was a little worried and unsure since this was my very first time trying to incubate eggs. I still am, lol. Everything was going perfectly untill the 18 day candle. I noticed small air cells and under developed embryos. The eggs in the center most parts of the incubator were farther along than the outter edge eggs. I put them in lockdown regardless and just rotated the "ready" eggs on the outside and the others to the center closer to the heat. Last night (day 19) i thought i heard a few peeps. Today (day 20) i know i heard peeps! Ran over to incubator to find two external peeps and more peeping from internal peeps. One of the external peeps is one of the ones with small air cell but most heat. It was also one off the eggs that looked ready from the inside, dispite the small air cell. Im assuming the air cell grew tremendously in lockdown over the past two days. Will update when theres more updates. Off to get the brooder box ready!

First day going into incubator on March 17th.

37 out of 40 going into lockdown on April 4th. (Easter) 2 were infertile on 7 day candle, 2 were quitters on 14 day candle. Not bad for first season hens and first time for me incubating. Actual hatches will tell all though. Trial and error, trial and error...

Nevermind. I found the sticky for the hatch a longs. I didn't see it at first and i just assumed it was to show the hatching so people could watch, lol.

Hey there i put mine eggs March 18,but i first moved incubator to my university room and incubate there for 9 days then take incubator back home (1 hour driveing) and soo. Out of 10 - 9 gone to lockdown.

Any yours hatch, do you see or hear something?

None has hatched yet, just the same two pipped so far. A little progress with pip size though. Yes, there is peeping in some other eggs, so there are some more internal pips. Im going to be up all night!
