Very Hard Shells...!

my eggs shells are very hard and ive noticed that a couple have like a hard wart on the outer shell from the same bird, is this due to calcium , too much or too little ...? or any other reason , thanks

It is a calcium deposit. I see them occasionally on eggs and don't worry about it.

Just one of those things and not a concern.

My chickens produce eggs with shells that are much harder than store eggs. Irregularities in the surface of the shells are ignored here.
