very hurt chick

I found a hurt one day old chick in a horse stable and may have been stepped on by a horse. No bleeding or wounds though, but has a hard time breathing, eye lids closed, and is in too much pain to move. Is there any thing I can do?

I would probably euthanize.

I am sorry to hear about the chick - they are so small and delicate that it doesn't take much to kill them.
