Very ill chicken. What do I do??

I am hopefully picking up some flubenvet tonight from a local vet. The panacur is available but not near me, and the weather at the moment isn't helping :p
Someone on here told me I could use frontline but I asked on a new thread and was told strictly no. Confused now lol

Are there any horse people where you live? If so, ask them what they use to worm their horses with. If you don't know of any horse people, ask someone on Yahoo Groups WMP2 (Welsh Mountain Ponies) where they get their wormers, lots of folks from the UK there. You could also try calling a saddle shop/tack store.

At this point, I would concentrate my efforts on getting this bird properly hydrated. If you don't, she will die.

Just read the thread of your sick hen :( so sorry, I am thinking u could add electrolites to her water for dehydration and a mash fed with a dropper to ensure she is eating, she may just be egg bound and feeling ill because of this! Hoping u can get ahold of a poultry vet. maybe run a craigslist add for some further local poultry advise! I do recommend you keep her seperated as you wouldnt want the rest of ur flock catching whatever she may have, also u can always add Diatamacious earth, in the water, which will naturally fight of worms and other mites and what not! Best of luck, and hope this was somewhat informational to you! <3

Hi guys! Appreciate the help! All good points given.
I have some flubenvet 1% from my local vet, I need to mix 6g (there is a 6g spoon with it) into 2kg of feed daily. Time to get the scales out!
I syringe fed her some water with a little ACV today, and will continue tomorrow. Pretty sure i saw her drinking earlier before bed.
She seems a little more sprightly today :D I'm still not letting her out for a few days until I know she's fully better.
Sooooo I deffo can't use doggy frontline on her?

After finding/posting that "FRONTLINE contains fipronil, which is the first of a totally new family of molecules called the phenylpyrazoles. (It is not an organophosphorus compound)," I'm gonna defer this whole subject to casportpony, who continues to remember that you're in the UK, and is clearly far more qualified in the area or pharmacokinetics << and, she can even spell it right (it's underlined in BYC's spellchecker, but so are six other words I'm almost sure to have spelled right ~'-)
